With a growing headset portfolio, I redefined the desk phone into a modern, all-in-one headset system simplifying secure work communication.
I designed a simple, stylish system inspired by jewelry and watch displays. It charges the headset, shows meeting details, and lets you join calls. It also highlights our headsets and Webex assistant.
The structure creates visual tension by balancing a floating circular interaction pod with a circular headset earcup. It’s eye-catching and stands out, unlike typical products in this category.

Major points of improvement arise on the headset based on the current model’s limitations. The dock is also more fully featured as a companion device.
Functionality
Bump out in the material allows for more robust hinges to have collapsible earcups.
Head pad
A wider contact patch on the head reducing sensation of a pressure point.
Charging
Pins are embedded into the head pad, allowing for a smoother docking process.
