Concept: 1.5weeks | Self Initiated
With a burgeoning headset portfolio, I looked at evolving and re-defining what would typically be considered a desk phone into a new modern take on a communication device. This device is meant to simplify secure work communications into an all in one headset centered system.
I took inspiration from jewelry and watch displays to create an elegant, understated form to charge a headset, present meeting information and the ability to join meetings or calls. This was also a vessel to showcase our headsets and Webex assistant.
The Structure is comprised of a visual tension created by counter-balancing and floating a circular interaction pod and the circular headset earcup. Attention grabbing and a statement piece were words used to describe this- not typical of this category of product ;)
